For some reason, some players love to carry around a ton of loose chips. The most popular is of course the Crown Royal bag. If you are a bourbon drinker, just buy a bottle or get the bag on Amazon (without the fun part).
2. Crown Royal Drawstring bag
Pros
- Large, and can fit as many chips as you want to carry
- If you want to seem like a regular, you’ll fit right in
Cons
- Does not fit well in your pocket
If you want to be a little more unique than the masses using Crown Royal bags, try Blanton’s. It’s similar, but has a higher-end feel that comes with a premium whisky.

Poker players carry cash. Credit is not a thing in the poker room–casino credit won’t even let you get a marker if they think you’re headed there.
So you need to handle wads of bills without stuffing your wallet like George Costanza.
What Makes a Good Money Clip
- Material matters. Carbon fiber keeps its spring; brass and steel fatigue, rubber bands snap.
- Retention over gimmicks. A good clip should hold one bill as tightly as forty without warping.
- Flat is fast. The thinner the clip, the quicker you clear chips and cash through security lines or cashier windows.
What to Avoid
- Rubber bands: Snap in dry casino air and leave residue on bills and rip them.
